Default Unarmed and Tempest, happy together or no?

I recall seeing somewhere that Tempest does not currently work with unarmed attacks, and was wondering if this was the case, and if there were any word as to whether it will be changed to do so.

    Thanks in advance.

No unfortunately it doesn't work. I believe it was intentional so I don't think they have any intention of changing it. I think I have the dev quote somewhere. I'll see if I can look it up.

edit: found it: here's the quote I bolded the relevant portion.

Fighting with a pair of kamas gives you additional versatility in selecting your gear layout and access to the secondary two weapon fighting feat and ability chains; fighting with a quarterstaff will give you strength and a half to damage and glancing blows.

At this time we are not adding green steel weave handwraps.

That's disappointing. Now I've got to decide whether I will keep with my plan of picking up ranger levels or whether I should stay monk to 16 (already have a level of rogue).

Not a bad idea Aesop. I'll have to give that some consideration.

Anyway, good news is I don't have to blow 2 feats on Mobility and Spring Attack now.

unless you mostly monk for the 2d8 fists... tmepest adn kamas will out perform...

IE if you take 6-7 lelves of other stuff then take 6 ranger for tempest speed and use kamas, you gona at leats need soem transmuting ones for guys your hadwraps cant buypas sDR on any way.
IF you stay mostly monk then normaly TWF with hadwraps will be very nice currently, you will still want a pair of min2 kamas for stuff your handwraps dotn hurt to well IE harrys 15 pt;s of DR on normal more on higher difs.
