    Yep, dark monks suck and need some love. Possible ways to do this (mostly previously suggested):

    1. additional damage added to attacks
    2. debuffing abilities expanded or affecting multiple targets
    3. vampiric health stealing for dark monks
    4. if debuffs are kept as current (ie. weaksauce) then they could be combined into a single attack (ie. multiple effects on one strike) or perhaps changed such that there is a passive chance to apply them with each strike (as opposed to finishers which are really mostly just a pain to use)

    Dark Monks don't need/deserve specific DPS improvements...DDO revolves around combat, so DPS upgrades unbalance the light/dark split (and besides, monks in GENERAL need DPS improvements).

    All dark needs is to have their debuffs work on all mobs (reds/purples too). Duration aside, I see nothing unbalancing about any debuffs working on boss mobs (immunities to instadeath and para effects are the only ones that ever made much sense to me).

    I don't think dark monk is weak, I am agree that all path monk need some dps boost, but not mean dark monk is useless.

    Actually, in my oppinion, low level monk should go light path, but for end game, you should go dark path, if you really want dps and killing things.

    Look at the finish moves of dark monk,
    water dark water is a kind of instant kill for humanoid mobs, there are many humanoid mobs there,
    wind dark wind can blind mobs, 50% miss change, ac decrease, and 100% sneak attack, with vod goggle, that is +8damage per hit.
    earth dark earth can make mobs can't cast spell and can't hit you, you can beat them to death with no hurt.
    dark dark dark reduce 50% healing, you can cast it on the red names, ect: running with devils, the boss who spam heal on himslef.

    and dark fist is a very good dps boost for living mobs, and reduce their save by 2, means your all tactic moves dc increase by 2. you can dark fist on someone first, then stun it, or quivering palm it.

    Learn sth, you must know how to use and set up finish moves as a monk!
    You just don't know how to use it, doesn't mean it is useless.

    All I hope is make all monk moves easier to insert attack squence. and cancel that 1sec daze after you failed to perform a finish move. and fix fire dark fire finish move!

    I'd respec to dark just for that, no one in my group need ever buy pots, or spend SP again!

    At least we're not stuck with a path and can respec. I went dark at first because it sounded cool... and it was for about 5 seconds, right up until I tried the "guaranteed crit" finisher and found out that the beneficial portion didn't work.

    How awesome is that? The pinnacle finishing move of a new class is to open yourself up to a guaranteed crit for 3 seconds. Go QA go!

    (did they ever fix that? I gave up after 2 months)
