Anyone who's played a class who can use a cure wand has had to do that, what's so special about doing it with a UMD specced caster?

Casters are also low on hit points, and have the worst fort saves, and have the worst AC. Wirey and evasive only goes so far mechanically.

You have a point on diplomacy, but Warforged sorcerors don't need aggro mittigation, they have healing, freeing up a skill point. Besides, bluff is a class skill for sorcerors.

I have a drow sorc and a WF Wiz. If I was to build the WF again it would be a sorc. Sure your DC drops a couple, but you get faster casting times and more SP (even with the chr penalty).

Jumping around is undignified and wouldn't be done by any caster with self respect.

A wf sorc without umd in my opinion is no easier to solo with than a full umd specced drow sorc and I believe again IMO that the drow with umd offers more to a party. At the end of the day both are easily some of most soloable/loot run characters.

Agreed Sorcerers are like pizza, its hard to make a bad one. That's exactly why some people can make the oddest combinations work for them.

Whay be a drain on the cleric if you dont have to be?? Casters are not supposed to get hit tanks are.

The difference is succeeding on a 1 on a heal scroll and you dont need wands

Besides, bluff is a class skill for sorcerors

U bet, but then again, umd isnt either
