    Default Anyone know?

    Tricky one peeps, if for say I had a high level fighter, and took one level of cleric, would that toon be able to use heal scrolls and rez scrolls etc.
    Would it be a automatic pass level check or something?

    To elaborate, a character must make a caster level check to use a scroll.

    Here's the exact formula, just so you know:

    d20 + 2xYourCasterLevel >= 2x(RequiredCasterLevel for the spell)

    So, for example, take a 1st level cleric / 15 level X casting a raise dead spell from a scroll.

    Roll d20 + (2 x 1) >= 2 x 9
    d20 + 2 >= 18
    d20 >= 16
    A 1st level cleric 15th level X must roll a 16 or higher to succeed on a raise dead scroll. It works this way for all scrolls, arcane and divine.

    to further elaborate, if your umd is higher you will use that
