What's up with that.
What's up with that.
Its basically Windows telling you how to use your computer. They want you using applications and the like on a non-admin account, to protect you from admin rights being used without you knowing about it.
The only way I know of to get around it is to turn off the User Account Control (UAC) in Vista, that or run the game from an account that isn't the primary admin account.
I was able to create an account with admin rights and run the game without problem, not sure why, but ime it only affects the primary admin account.
As far as I know, however, Vista would prefer if you didnt use your computer on an account that has admin rights and that is where that error message comes from.
As he said this is almost always vista related, and odd if you get it on xp. It is microsoft's intent that you use a non admin account with UAC on - and IF you MUST use an admin account you most likely need to turn off uac to play the game (which we do not really recommend either)
