General error accessing account information

When I log into the game, I get an error. "General Error accessing your account information. Try again later, and contact tech support if the problem persists."

Can you help?

I got logged in and it said could not save character when I tried to pick a character to run. so I quit and rebooted ddo. Now I get the same error message.

I got in, but some areas I can't get to. Trying to get out to Threnal and it just bounces me back. The in game help panel shows the Turbine in maintenance graphic so I can't even submit a ticket. I'm on Sarlona, btw.

AS above, I am having the same issue. I was logged in. Went to switch characters, then got the "could not save character" error from the char load screen anytime I tried any of my characters. Rebooted Game and get the same message @ splash screen

I was logged in on Thelanis, me and a guildie were having trouble entering the catacombs, after a load screen with no progress we would be booted back to the Market. During one very long load screen with no progress I hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE and logged back in. It loaded up normally until it would have showed the character selection screen. At that point it booted me to the desktop and gave me the same error.

I tried to log into Argo and got the same error.
