Of course. Loyal long-term player who runs a guild that keeps a lot of players in the game who would otherwise cancel. On some occasions, I've gone out of my way to make the game better. I deserve an answer.

But that aside, what do you really expect them to say?

"It's just the way we want it". Well no, that would just **** people off and besides, we know many of them are players and all of them are professionals, I'm sure they all agree some improvements could be made.

"Yes we know it needs work". Well that won't make anyone feel better unless its accompanied by "and it will be fixed tomorrow", which is won't. Its just flamewar bait.

If you had a specific question, maybe that they could comment on...but that blanket quesiton, I can't imagine what they could say...

From what I can tell "It's just the way we want it" wouldn't make many folks upset. Most normal players want the game to be easy. However, many of those same players will complain about being bored or lack of high level content. I believe a more challenging game (from a leveling up perspective) keeps folks interested longer.

"Yes we know it needs work" Perfectly acceptable answer. Gives me hope that folks who enjoy tactical challenge will get it back. I'd like to see them add "we're trying a few tweaks hopefully ready for mod 9"

In any case, the question is about as specific as it needs to be. A simple yes or no gives me something to go on.

the caster are weak p all you need is a rog duel weilding weaking of enfeebling short swordswords bing poor caster at zero str and cant cast as you wack him mybe it be cool to let a caster wack a caster with a club after we declaw the poor fellow.

hmmmm i agree..... the chase is half the fun. Though i have to also say that the distances that they can travel is defently a littl' far fetched at times...... and when you have them pinned in a corner... it can amaze me that they even have such a awesome jump skill they can hang from places most individuals can never achive thats what tests my patiance.... A well known example are the kobolds in WW those casters are amazing can walk up straight walls..... wish i could do that.

You know Parvo, if you want to have a whole new experience dealing with caster AI you should try permadeath play! I mean it brings a whole new dimension to the DDO experience. You really should give it a try.

What, you were expecting some sort of uber answer about the ideal playstyle? Sheeh, and how many people know the original artist singing those lyrics "borrowed" and what S. (the nickname abbreviated) played?

Considering the high based youth mixed in with the older crowd here...not enough still (and the US youth finding North America on a map has decreased, not gone up.

I think the issue is more that ranged and caster beasties feel the need to run up to you, give you a quick peck on the cheek, then turn around, run five steps away, and start casting/shooting.

Really they are gimped in our favor, for the most part.

Nine capped characters and you haven't realized that casters and archers actually run toward your character and bump into them before doing anything else?
