    Default New Rainbow kinda fun

I know this got some hate from the last set of changes but we went in there last night and it was great!

Took us a failure to realize that we really had to stick together. Also, the three fighter-type hirelings were not very helpful in there. I suspect we still did not figure out how to use them properly.

Once we got three real hirelings it was really fun. Hard, too, which was part of the fun.

The new rainbow is sort of annoying imo, but each to their own. I'd rather not have mandatory quests force a slow playstyle.

oooooooo here have a lolly pop.....

Guess some peeps just enjoy taking advantage of every situation... be it turning up gamma up to rush through a quest or prehaps summoning pets to stop the pit-fiend..... **hmmmm** didn't think about this much if i keep on going im gonna wear my fingers out too many things to go through.....

I have a game you can play.... might be up your ally because you can save just before you go into battle so if you bugger up you can try again.... bet that is your kinda fun.....

I will be serious now. I do trully belive that these sorts of changes creat group bonds... something that is very important to learn your place with-in the DDO system. Every toon should have a place to play keep people together and alowing them the over-come obsticals as a team.

If a game doesn't pose a challange it soon becomes stagnate and that creates less involvement.

I will give just a small reason nothing to extreme.....

RAIDING..... Raids make up a small part of the game yes but they serve many a challange when first introduced... Some people need challanges so they can learn to play there toons to the best of ones abilitys. The only way i feel that this is achived is to face challanges that will test not only a persons skills but also how they work together in a team enviroment.

***P.S.*** prehaps you could take a look at the recent POLL turbine has up.

QUOTE - "When facing a new challenge, what do you prefer?"

Guess what over 75% of people chose this response...... "I like being the first to discover it and use trial and error"

This says to me that people indeed like the challange.

    Default What i find funny...

    /thread derailment on

It is always amusing to me that people still continue to bring up old "exploits" to make current points more powerful.

However the funny part is how many of you self-righteous people that claim to never use exploits in the shroud were the first ones to suggest pulling the mobs in part 2 to the certain corners???

Or on another note how many of you drop and reform in order to farm bloodstones, subt, vale, orchard, gianthold, slayers rares etc, in order to avoid the 5 minute reset (technically working around the way the game is intended aka exploit)?

Just my 2 cp, not trying to point fingers just airing out something that has been on my mind for a while

When you always win, it is boring. I hate party wipes as much as the next guy, but without them, success isn't as fun.

I like the change to this quest, and I like the new and improved Reaver too.
