    Default The Updating Error

    Well today i purchased DDO online. I created an account, and then installed the game. The launcher screen appeared, but then a message appeared saying Failed to Initialize Update.... I have tried many procecess and cures found on these forums, but none have worked. I made a new user account, and that came up with the same error.

    If anyone could help, that would be appreciated

    What OS, do you have and some more info would help out, like a DXdag. There is just to many different fixes to try without knowing what we are trying to fix it on.

    You may need to add more files to the exception list of your firewall. You need dndclient.exe, Turbinelauncher.exe, and I also have dndlauncher.exe, this might be your problem.

    Well, I tryed to use DDO with my anti virus, and firewall off. The same error came up. As for my OS, I am using a Windows XP laptop with the In-built Intel Graphics card, with 1 gb or RAM. My internet speed is ADSL 2, and yea. Any help would be appreciated.
