    Default Spread the ingredients out

Rather than only being able to gather ingredients from the shroud why not spread them out through all the meridia quests. Im not talking about the ingredients needed to make the green steel blanks.

On normal make the end chests drop random smalls, on hard drop mediums, and elite drop larges. Even if the chests wernt guarenteed to drop 1 would be fine.

I dont care if the crafting altars are left in the shroud raid. I would just like to see an alternative way to gather ingredients rather than cranking out my 101st shroud.

i think this is a great idea and might even help out the people that dont have time to run 20 shrouds just to get the ingredients to make a couple things.

Now if we could get that dwarf from the Gianthold up here in meridia to offer us those 1 for 3 trades on our ingredients i have a few bones i could toss him for some scales

Be careful what you wish for, what you say is best; for sometimes what you seek is found, not at the end of the quest.

this is a good idea and put them in the vale as well give us reason the run the outside area as well and keep us busy not just run shroud all the time and you would still have to run shroud for your 20th

Id rather they put the GS blank crafting ingredients in the adventure area. All of them not just the 2 types that drop currently, and drop the GS effect ingredients in the missions.

They used to have all blank ingredients in the vale, but took them away. I'm thinking we won't see them back anythime soon, which is too bad.

Suggested this in an earlier post, albeit with some mathematical distribution ideas to allow drops through ALL quests (please read what was suggested before insta-flames).

Anythign to reduce grind will further a larger player base of casual players, and diminish a smaller subsection of MMO addicts. Addicts feed on "grind" in MMO's, casuals tend to like variety and the social interaction of the game which is facilitated by quest variety and novelty.

I read through your thread Slimy and I dont really agree with the idea of dropping through all quests. I would prefer just through the vale quests.

Firstly you dont need any ingredients till you get to the vale anyways. Secondly Shroud crafting is high level raid gear it should have some challenge to accuire.
