As for the weapons, I just noticed you're in LA. I may have to upgrade my suggestion to flamethrowers and small tactical nukes. :> When an undesirable would-be-boyfriend arrives on the door, just head to your underground bunker and hit the red button. Granted, you might lose a neighbor or three (hundred thousand? million?), but that's a small price to pay to ensure the boys are kept at bay, right?
