    First off, you have to have the picture uploaded to a host site. Either a directory for any personal web space you have through your ISP, or (my preference) http://photobucket.com/. Photobucket is free and even gives you the picture url already bracketed in [img] brackets for straight copy/pasting.

    Once you have a picture there, then paste the url into [img] brackets here.

    Example, emoticons I have on my personal space:

    http://i621.photobucket.com/albums/t...motes/lmao.gif becomes in [img] brackets.

    Click the link in the box down in the bottom lefthand corner for more info. Where it says "IMG Code is ON"
    Also have to check that -- some threads don't have that enabled.)
