Screw the +5 prot on your DT armor, YOU need a heavy fort item and you can combo that with your +5 prot with min2 and 45 HP from shroud and fit it in lost of body slots to acount for other items...
That and a Neg pos pos SP item, +5 cha skills, 300 SP good for ZEAL's ETC.
are the 2 main shroud items you will probably wan't they are both good slot combining items wich for a pally is important....
I don't rember of the top of my head what tier of DT the +5 prot was but if it was tempest tier then BINGO that cna realyl help you by letting you stuff a +6 stat there of nothing else apeals to you.
A dwarf will net you the BEST AC from a mostly pall due to DAM, a human can get close with the daggertooth belt btu that an expesive slot, and costs you 3 more con you prolyl cant aford a slto fro another con item, on top of the 2-4 less con you have over a dwarf already, dwarf loses 2 Cha though and it;s bASE cha wich will hurt the Divine might wich is a nice Damage bost at the higher levels, you already going to be loseign some damage potetal as a AC build you will want to max your Aura's AC and doign that and getting ALL the damage bosts is imposibal, ESPECALY if your tryign to fit soem dwarf AP's in as well.
NOW another option for good AC and good other stats is a drow EVERY + stat then get is GOOD for an AC pally soo they will easly come out as a 34+pt build efectivly
Yuor stuck with the daggertooth again to try and max ac, but the free +2 int maked CE easyer the +2 cha makes getting the base cha for divine might very EASY, now the dex issue heres where you get your extra slot for that con item VERY needed on the elf AND the daggertooth belt... spend 2 points on dex, a +2 tome +2 racal and +2 racial AP's = NO dex item 16 dex dirt cheap, maxing out DT armor with the belt !!!!!
You could do
STR 16 cost 10 (efective 10)
DEX 12 cost 2 (efective 4)
CON 12 cost 6 (efective 4)
INT 12 cost 2 (efective 4)
WIS 8 cost 0 it's enought
CHA 16 cost 6 (efective 10)
2 POINTS LEFT OVER still either 17 cha making the (efecive 13) or stuff a few points in wis for easier spell castign lower elvels adn a few extra sp, I'd do cha.
OK so on a 28 pt drow thats really a 35 point build...
The human can get a 32 point build the dwarf ends up washing out OR loseing stat points since you want a high base cha fro Divine might your gona by at least a 16 dropign to 14 and at BEST buy a 14 bumped to 16 con so he comes out even at 32 pt build.
I will warn you now your gona CURSE pally AP's nomatter which one you build pallys have VERY poor low level AP progresstion unless there is good racials to fill in form 7 spent onward they take off with WAY to much you will want to buy to try and be the best pally you can be IE aura's and support and some extra HP to live longer and do the bets damage you can do....

BTW i know the triple set is nice for teh new stuff BUT a posible alternative for a bti mroe AC is a shroud tier2 4 insight and cayos guards 1 more ac but lose the nice bracer effetcs and still get the bulk of the extra hate 20% from teh sheild adn armor combo... imo this realyl depends on if you can fit +6str some where else, and how much HP you have, IE do you need 20% healing to make sure your getitgn full heals...
Also depends where that 1 AC puts you IE is your ac floatign in the range where that 1 extra point makes a HUGE difrence IE liek a 25% reduction in damage taken, going from geting hit on a 5 to hit on a 4 for eg.
One more side comment to do with your HP, as a pally who will want to max at leats the AC half of his aure, and you said you want Damage so wantign soem divine sack adn exulted smite action as well YOUR goign to be hard presed for AP wich means if you went dwarf i can almost garenty you will NOT have dwwarf con2 pally toughneess4 and dwarf toughness4 realisticaly racial toughness2 adn pally toughness2 shoudl be NP btu above that will hurt to take.

A) Paladin 16 Fighter 2 Rogue 2 - Paladin heavy build, More Sp´s, better LOH´s and depending on available spells at end game it could be worth considering.
B) Paladin 14 Fighter 4 Rogue 2 - Definitely a more orthodox approach since you´ll have an extra Fighter feat, but check my not so orthodox 3rd option....
C) Paladin 14 Fighter 3 Rogue 3 - Yes you miss out on a Feat but you do get FAM I from 3rd level Fighter, as well as Intimidate points, and most importantly it allows you to get 3rd Level Rogue with the same Intimidate - UMD - Jump - Tumble Etc.. Skills to be a better build all around.
* You can substitute Dwarven Waraxe for Khopesh if you like and yes you´ll have 10% more Crit-Range but since you will be a Zeal - Divine Sacrifice - Divine Might - Divine Favor - Angelskin - Combat Expertise clicking fool like the rest of us console playing Paladins.....then the Base damage from Greensteel Waraxe will rock.
* Although this may sound crazy I´d play this build (Or even Bruttus at this point if and when I took or had 2 Rogue levels) with DTFP and a 2nd set of Evasion Armor depending on quest or situaton.
* Forgot you had +2 Tomes.... please modify as needed.
PS: Gear for most AC Paladin Builds: Spectral Gloves / Leviks Bracers & Shield / Madstone Boots (fun and worth it) / Greensteel CHA Skills-SP´s and +5 Protection-Hvy Fort item. / Head of Good Fortune toggled with Bloodstone / Chattering Ring (Gotta farm it...sry)

Couple thoughts.
1. You can get 3 More AC from the Alchemical Shield Ritual I, Alchemical Armor Ritual I and Bulwark of Good 4.
2. With Module 8, I have a Dwarven Paladin Intimitank with 50 unbuffed intimidate and I cannot hit the hound reliably anymore.
3. Non-Dwarven Paladins currently can only get a Maximum Dexterity bonus of +3 using a Daggertooth belt while using a mithral tower shield and dragon touched full plate.
4. Dwarven Paladins currently can only get a Maximum Dexterity bonus of +4 using a Daggertooth belt/Dwarven Armor Mastery III while using a mithral tower shield and dragon touched full plate.
5. If I could do it all over again I would definitely reroll as human especially after the intimidation nerf they did in Module 8. Unfortunately my intimitank has about 4 months of solid gear farming on him that I don't want to go through again.
It took me a few reads of your post to decode your 'leetspeek' but I think I got the gist.
I already had a +6 stat in the 2nd tier of my armor, and +5 resistance in the 1st tier... have I missed something?
Yes I know that chaosguards give 1 more AC but with a build that has 4 or 5 'primary' stats it's all about using slots for multiple items - i.e. armor for AC, resist and a stat - goggles for prot, heavy fort, bracers for STR and AC etc etc... I listed how I was planning to get all these stats and effects in a post above I think

Thinking Level 20 and with todays game info....I´d start Rogue 1 and take it to Paladin 15 and Fighter 4. Benefits? Higher Skills all around. Strongly would encourage this projected L20 Paladin.

looks like Human is the way to go given the extra skill points, the un-nerf to racial toughness, the intimidate bonus, and the extra stat points that I can distribute from enhancements.
I'm still taking a previous poster's view that going pally/18 is a good idea - since Eladrin has said that the tier 3 prestige classes will be coming at level 18.
I'm worried about going evasion (rogue/2) because I would have to wear light armor which puts my choices between the BP of destruction (which would limit my ability to combine effects as well as the DT armor) or the dragontouched leather armor, which means that I would have to get my dex bonus up to +7 or 24 to fill it - which means taking my DEX up a lot more than I was planning.
Perhaps 2 fighter levels is best?

Yes DT armor has hampered the evasion pally somewhat.
2 levels of rogue (instead of fighter) gets you:
+1 DEX enhancement
+1d6 sneak attack
Evasion
UMD access
+6 skill points (more than fighter) per level (+24 at level 1)
2 levels of fighter (instead of rogue) get you:
2 feats
+1 STR enhancement
Both get you:

Action boost haste +15%
