Selling Firestorm Greaves :)

Hey, gang!

This is my first time selling something like this and I'm not too sure how I should go about it. As I've only been seriously playing for several months, I think I have maybe 600k gold tops amongst all my toons. But I'm also way short on Blue Dragonscales for my 16 Wiz for her robe.

What would you guys suggest? Sell it for plat or for scales? And, if so, how much/how many?

Just say, i need blue scales and plat, give me your best offer.
When you see an offer you like, ither take it or say this is the best so far, auction continues.
Just dont do it for too long because people will loose interest.

Thank you for the advice, gang both here and in PM's.

The opinions seem varied as to cash (some suggesting between 5 & 10 million gold) and others seem to like trading weaps and such. Since this is my first capped toon, I'm not really sure what to do. If I take Blue Dragonscales then my Wiz will have what she wants and still be lev-capped but my other toons will still be drop-gear only. If I take the cash, I won't be sure how much is enough. And I guess I'm still too new to figure out what other items are so sought after that money doesn't matter so much.

So, I guess I'll take the advice here and say: PLAT and/or Blue Scales! Make me an offer!

You can never and I mean never have enough plat to completely tweak out all of your characters especially those that are not at cap. My suggestion for what it is worth is to ask, at a minimum, for the blue scales you want or for enough plat so that you can buy them off the AH if you ever find them on there.

If someone seriously offered you 10 Million Gold (A Million Plat) I'd jump all over it. Thats enough Plat to buy a full set of blue scales off the AH and have PLENTY of play left over for twinking.

There's a huge difference between someone suggesting it's worth up to 1M plat versus actually *offering* 1M plat! My bet is someone did the former.
