I'm sorry, but did you say something about changing the background sound effects? I'm having a hard time concentrating at the moment because the deafening sound of lava has left me a little dizzy.

I've only noticed this in one location (Mt Reysalon, near shrine), but by god it's loud!

Noticed it in Mt Reysalon also, could definitely be toned down.

If by noticed you mean 6 voices in chat moaning in pain (almost inaudibly because the lava noise was far louder than the people, despite a 1.00 to .01 difference on the sliders) then yes I've noticed.
Suggestion to Turbine: Have new character slots open up automatically based on months since account start date.
Update: EU+Store = close enough. Thank you.

Prison of the planes fire room.

I have to mute my speakers since the last time sounded as if it was going to blow them!

When venturing near lava, remember: Safety First.

I tested it the other day. If you are inside POP and are the one who pulls the lever on the fire door, you can run clear to the next room and still all you can hear is the lava. It's crazy

Make lava MUCH quieter, and while your at it electric traps are disproportionally loud as well.

I mean for most of us to hear voice chat NORMALY we need to have all sounds effects a.01 and voice volume maxed, seriously fix the sound turbine.

When they made the mail box chime...

and then made it chime LOUDER...

all to annoy plat spammers into leaving the box, what makes you think they'll get around to fixing something that also annoys players who really can NOT turn their volume off?

*grumbles about the sound effects that are way to freaking loud, kind of like lighting traps*

Warning! This game may cause loss of hearing if you wear headphones.

if you haven't guessed, heck yes lower the freaking thing.

I've noticed that it's relatively loud as well. I tend to keep all my volume sliders at around .15 or .2 regardless, so I can't really imagine what it would be like at 1.00

Lava, lightning traps, spike traps, and some caves echoing effect seem to be
    immune to my volume slider....

Please fix this loud obnoxious sound before my ears begin to bleed.
