I find all the doomsaying amazing. You are giving zero facts behind your statements. Why exactly is this bad? As far as the middle class families are concerned his tax proposal is a good thing not a bad thing and I assume most people on here fall under his proposal. It sounds (by some of the remarks being made) like it's mostly a racial or religious argument instead of political. Until he spends some time in office who's to say he won't be good for the country. For the record I would say the exact same thing for McCain, you don't know till it's over people.

Obama is the best hope for the US. Now its time to move on, get behind YOUR president and move on. Support him and lets try to make America a great country again rather then how the rest of the world views us.

BTW, Im a UK citizen whos just about to become an American Citizen and I can see that Obama is the best for us.

You will always have your freedom of speech because your military will never let another soverignty take your rights away. I'm part of that military, I promise we'll all die for you before you have to answer to another country's will.

Secondly, you are clearly violating the Code of Conduct on a PRIVATE FORUM. This was supposed to be an announcement thread and you've already thrown the gauntlet with the rash words I've read tonight. This thread will be locked in the morning, if not sooner. If you want to spread dissent, spread it on a forum that encourages this or create your own.

The rules are here for a reason.
