Gotta agree with Sierra here, some of those areas in the southwest are rather repressed when it comes to realizing their Full Alcoholic Potential (more on this later). My first brush with such insanity was a couple years back in Texas... I was apparently in a "dry county" where alcohol couldn't be served to the public. There was one exception, and that was for private clubs (think like the Lions or Elks or Rotary or something).

Net result, every restaurant had a "private" club that anyone could join for free.

Okay, so back to Full Alcoholic Potential, or FAP for short. I suspect BabyGirl can hold her own so she's at least worth a (FAP). From what I've seen of BeerGirl, she's not only a card-carrying member, she's Vice President and lifetime permanent member (FAP FAP FAP). Now when you combine BeerGirl with all of her friends, it's a flock of FAPs... FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP...

Finally, if you picked up a plane ticket, flew BabyGirl down to BeerGirl, tossed her in the mix with all of BeerGirl's friends, add a pool of beer and a camera... well, my friends, that right there is what we call a LEGENDARY FAP. This is the sort of thing that you tell your grandkids about, then show them pictures so they can bring them to school and show all their friends. "Back when I was your age, I **** near FAP'd myself to death at Lake Havasu. I don't remember a thing, but there were news reports in Europe discussing whether or not the fun I was having warranted sanctions."

Even if you're ordering it for a friend who's due to be there in the next couple of minutes. Or your almost done with your beer and you don't want to wait for the waitress' next time around to order. Couple that with the fact that the vast majority of the residents don't drink at all. You then have a population of people who don't have the same immunity to alcohol as those of us here on the river. Where we basically drink from the minute we roll out of the rack. Until the wee hours of the morning on the weekends.

So in this case it does matter because we are speaking of Utah. They are a region of amature drinkers. We are a region of truly professional drinkers.

Come on Bagygirl I thought you knew all this. LOL
I am CANADIAN! So I don't really have alcohol problems LOL I'm just saying whether it be here or there it really depends on the person

    Default True Babygirl

It does depend on the person. But when almost every person from that region doesn't drink or is limited in how, what, or when they can drink. Then said person from said region is hindered. I'm saying in this case the it really depends on the person and if the person is from Utah.

Still doesn't mean that if someone from utah say comes to toronto and starts drinking that doesn't mean that that persons body wont consume more then say yourself...

Yes and I propose Affrogate vs Astargras. or tag team bout Astar and Affro vs the WHOLE STATE OF UTAH. Seriously Affro is the only guy I have known who had to boot and rally cleric through Coal chamber and Astar has drunktanked VoD with bare knuckled.... "Astar why is you punching instead of using a weapon?" "Burp. Oh sorry, least I got chicken." True story. After the bout we can then toss their drunk dwarf asses around and take bets on who can throw the furthest.

I'm not saying they they can't or wont drink. I'm saying they cant drink with the big dogs. They will drink. They will just end up passed, out naked, in their own puke, with an ink tag time on their forehead, but they will have drank that's for sure!!!

    Give it up babygirl.
Just being geographically from that area and in a state of alcohol withdrawl for quite a while will give them a disadvantage.
Medically speaking, they will be in a coma before they can catch Disavowed.

Agreed. From the looks of it, Disavowed and BeerGirl have been on Spring Break for the past decade or so. That's a lot of training right there.

Default Prey and Extinction of The Hand of the Black Tower

Hey fellow Khyberians. The person behind the wheel of the crazy robot barbarians Prey and Extinction, and for you old school Aundair players Deamos!!

I am from Canada and am your proud neighbour to the north! Also I am a long-time member of The Hand of the Black Tower and have happily kicked a$$ with almost everyone at some point or another. Very cool thread btw!

    Default Okay Babygirl

Let me put this in DDO terms. You know how Paladins become immune to disease at level 3 and monks become immune to poison at a certain level. Well the Beergirl & I aren't immune to alcohol but we're closer than most. As are the majority of the people from this area. It just goes with the lifestyle out here. It's the difference of a Utahnion only drinking a resistance pot and we've drank a protect pot along with our resist pot. Only ours is a permenant resist and protect that renews at every shrine (when we get out of bed). This comes from years of training that the Utahnions don't even have access to.

In fact if you moved one of us to Utah we would probably be dead from lack of ability to consume alcohol in the quantities and manner we're accustomed to.

You should listen to your brethran (Strake & Hordo) as they seem to have higher wisdom score than you. I think you may have put more points into STR & INT. Where they put theirs into WIS while Beer & I put ours into CON. I'm pretty sure you're the one we'd send to read the book at the top of the stairs in the Crucible where the spinner blades are.

On that note I need to go hit the streets and run 4 miles since Beergirl is hogging the treadmill ATM. I need to work off all the alcohol I drank yesterday playing DDO. So that I can keep my CON up.

Hopefully you see the light Baby

DAMMIT Dis its UTAHNS LOL Honestly though Disavowed speaks for the majority of Utah but not everyone. Its still pretty easy to get real Booze, you just buy it from the State Liquor Store as opposed from a private liquor store. The beer is 3.2 as opposed to 4% although it my understanding is its hard to regulate that when you go to a brew pub and Utah has some of the best in the US. I have been to alot of parties in my time but some of the best and wildest I have ever been in have been in the great mormon state of Utah! Those of us who don't tithe 10% of our paycheck (and secretly many of us that do) have no problems drinking for those poor bastards that can't!

I thought this thread was to post your pics and talk about them, I see the topic has veered off.

    Default I would disagree

The heading says see who you're talking to. As in get to know the people you're playing with so talking about their pics is definately in the spirit of the thread. Since the OP is making comments I don't think he's upset. The thread has evolved into something we're trying to keep alive so people see it and post pics.

Along with my comments I've posted saveral pics. Probably more than I should have, but at least I'm posting pics and making comments to keep the post alive. And in doing so I'm getting to know people on here such as Babygirl. I'm getting to learn that Strak & Hordo might be wrong. Babygirl may not be at her full FAP.

I wasn't insulting you, just busting your chops. I would never intentionally insult you. Goof on you yes but never insult you. If it came accross that way then my deepest apology. I don't know you well enough to know for sure if you we're just busting my balls, it did seem that way but if I'm wrong again I apologize.
