Dude.. I am totally going to take you up on that. I was actually out in Havasu not too long ago. The City Attorney's Office uses our software and I went out to train. My mistake was doing it in July.. Holy spontaneous combustion batman!!
and I do love my life. I've got a great wife(18 years this month as well), great kids and work for a company where I give thanx everyday that I work there. But still would have loved to been there for the fantasy sword fight thingy that was going on.. ;-)
and Aranticus.. Thanx for my first laugh out loud moment of the day..

This thread has beaten the MAC thread. Sad to say it but hard to compete with Gtar(did I just say hard? Yes I think I did oops) and Beerguy. But thanks for the shout out!
Mac: where our dwarfs are into spirits and the rest watch them find the traps, what's heal is it like cometfall?, the home of the Got Dane? Baby T, and home of the ewok branch of the Jedi Council.
July is when you need to be out here. That's when the view and the parties are the best. One just needs to be on a boat parked on the sandbar where the water temp is a cool 74 degrees. You the take your lawn chair put it in the water, put up an umbrella, crack a cold beer, and enjoy the view/party.
Your problem is you've been stuck in Utah. You will need to be acclimated, and I don't mean to the heat LOL. Havasu on the River in July can be a total culture shock. The last time I saw a couple of Utah girls out here trying to keep up. A few hours later one was passed out in her lawn chair and the other was on her knees in the river puking. I just don't know if you Utah people are up for it. But we'd like to see if you are. Let us know the next time work sends you this way.

It might be hot but that's why I told you just get a lawn chair and a beer and sit in the water. The beer, cool water, and view make you forget it's hot out.

Beergirl's family lives in Logan. Everytime we go to Brianhead for a ski trip we have to import our own booze and beer. They look at us like we're alcoholics or a three headed monster. I think you might be above reproach when it comes to drinking in Utah. But come down here where the true professional drinkers hang out and you might not walk out so confident. When you compete with amatures it brings your game down you know. I think you might have a false sense of security from living in Utah and drinking with amatures.

Well it's been a while since I was in the military which is the last time I was in Asia. But I do know I'm not too far out of Asia drinking form. As I haven't changed my partying habits much from those days. But I will give you the edge if you're in Korea ATM. However if you've been hanging out in Utah recently then my guess is you've lost your edge.
First of all kudos for still having a liver after being in Korea for 17 months. Secondly thank you for your service.
Now on to the real matter at hand.
Your claim that Utanions can handle their booze using you as an example of the typical Utahnion was stated under false pretense. You claim to be a Utahnion but you are far from those roots and it seems like you have been for a while. So you don't count. My claim about the typical Utahnion still stands with merrit, as you don't count in my opinion.
I say send more Utahnions down here to the heat and we'll keep sending them back with their worst hangover of their lives. Two days after they get home they should be done detoxing and over the alcohol poisoning.
SERIOUSLY??
I will admit Utah beer BLOWS!! but I am a lightweight and proud of it, I find it cheaper to get a buzz that way :P Back in Cali when I was younger I could probably keep up but those days are behind me, got tired of waking up in my own vomit!
One of the coolest pictures I saw while I was out in Havasu was an aerial shot of the lake with all the houseboats. I heard there are so many you can walk from one side of the lake to the other without ever touching water.
and one of my favorite jokes is 'How do you keep a mormon from drinking all your beer?' Bring another mormon.

I have a few of those posters in fact we're probably in almost everyone lol.
Funny joke BTW.
Why the h3ll would it matter where you are from weather you could drink someone else under the table or not? Its more the person then where they are from.....
That would be a correct statement if you were refering to anywhere but Utah. The beer in Utah has a much lower alcohol content and it's harder to get booze. You just can't go to a bar & drink you have to be sponsered. They make it harder to even try and drink there. I.E. you can't have two drinks in front of you. Even if you're ordering it for a friend who's due to be there in the next couple of minutes. Or your almost done with your beer and you don't want to wait for the waitress' next time around to order. Couple that with the fact that the vast majority of the residents don't drink at all. You then have a population of people who don't have the same immunity to alcohol as those of us here on the river. Where we basically drink from the minute we roll out of the rack. Until the wee hours of the morning on the weekends.
So in this case it does matter because we are speaking of Utah. They are a region of amature drinkers. We are a region of truly professional drinkers.
Come on Bagygirl I thought you knew all this. LOL
Disavowed, my brother, you must forgive our sister from the Great White North. She comes from a land of free flowing hoppy-goodness, nearly all of which tastes good and everyone gets their fill. The concept of 2% in a can is as foreign to her as ummm...what's that stuff that is clear and no sharp taste? I think amateurs frequently abuse their pure liquor goodness with it? Umm...it's yea, oh water, that's it...yea, as foreign as water is to you and me.
