Wow, great thread.
First time posting, but have been playing the game since it came out and have enjoyed it as much now as when I had first logged on. Fantastic putting a face to a lot of the people I've quested with over the years. I love the D & D genre, since I was a pup, playing my first character with the box set, going through the monster manual enjoying every nuance of the fantasy world. Definitely the best fantasy based game I've played. I think the thing that makes it a fantastic experience is the people in the game. I've gone through a few guild's, currently guild free due to my erratic game playing times, but PUG on every quest. 99% of the time its a great experience, with that 1% being an "oh well next quest can only be better".
Just wanted to show my appriciation for a great server, playing a great game.

Hey, I'm only new to khyber but heres a couple of shots of me last July in Lapland, about 200km north of the artic circle. Its europes last wilderness so theres wild reindeer (and bears and wolves). It also has europes little known indigenous people, the Sami, who have lived there since the end of the last ice age, they call themselves the people of the sun and the wind. As my sunburned ears and face can testify it can get rather toasty in 24 hour sunshine and those arctic winds can freeze your butt off the next minute!

I went "camping" in Lappland near Kiruna in Sweden in 1986 and all I can say is wow. If I could have placed all the mosquitos I'd ever seen in my entire life into one spot at one time it still couldn't have compared to what I experienced then.
