Well 2 mill is too much since theres one on the AH for that as a buyout price and no one is biting. I will not pay 2 mil for a ss or dagger

With how important they are in the new quests, i would not be at all surprised to see that dagger on the AH get bought out.

Based on my trade about a month ago, I'd say 2mpp is a bit on the high end. 1.5mil seems about right to me... certainly nowhere near the "at least 3 mil" BS I was hearing in the trade channel the other night.

A month ago people did not want them so badly to take out the giants with tens of thousands of hit points. You know those giants that had alot of people saying (pre-mod8) that w/p would be worthless when the new mod dropped because of their immunities.

W/P value has increased even more than before with Mod 8.

While I agree with your point, w/p SS's simply aren't selling for 2mil PP on Khyber. As Boldrin mentioned, there's one on the auction house with a 2mil buyout right now, collecting dust.

Yep, it's been there for 2 days already. If someone was gonna buy it out, they would have by now. I've already got a bunch, I just need more so I can loan them to guildies and stuff for the giants and such. That way I can carry 4 on each melee , 2 to use , 2 to loan out. I need like 3-5 more and I should be good to go.

Hmmm that was me, price is dependent on what people will pay and what you want for it (supply and demand). Sold one about 6weeks ago for that, and total price was around 3million when I figure up what I got. (mix of scales and PP).

New quests do really lend themselves to having a wop item, at this time my main is welding a wop ss and a woe khopesh and does well. However I would not be suprised to see in the up and comming mods that wops are not all they cracked up to be, or they should flood the market with them like sunblades and let everyone have one

Yeah I agree with you Davey although it totally pains me. I had avoided bidding on any w/p weapons because two of my melee characters are slashing specced and my third, my bard, is more about dps then stat damage although she is piercing specced. Just the other day I bid on my first one a w/p ss with a price and accompanying goods that would have probably gotten it last mod, but I didn't get it. It just irks me to no end that w/p dominates this game so much. In pnp it is actually relatively insignificant. Casters are more potent actually with ability score damage with say a maximized ray of enfeeblement or the like.

Mate, would be a much better world if everyone looked out for the overall community rather than trying to screw everyone out of their last bit of plat. IF and this is only and IF mind you, ppl put things on AH for a price that THEY would pay for it, it would show a marked change in the economy, make it a bit more realistic.

Truth of the matter is that it doesnt matter to majority of population whether you want them for guildies or whatever, that seems to be the nature of ppl.

Which is better, to have everyone on a server adequately equipped so when you want to run a raid and need to PUG it, that you can find ppl with all the right gear, OR screw the last bit of plat out of someone so that they dont have anything that is needed and you blow a raid because of it.

I know which option i use.

Short answer is that majority employ a greed before need scenario. And that is where the generosity is lacking
