Experience penalty for Korthos Quests I have NOT done!?

Yes... It's Me. Bet this is a surprise...

I am not one to complain but I have to say
THIS time, I am Upset!

My Barb/ fighter Grampybone (Level 3) Happened to be
in the Wavecrest at the time of the Mod, so there he is on Korthos.

So I say Okay, He is like the Butcher of Baker Street So "No Problem."

I group with a fellow Guildie looking for a "Meat shield" and Off we go!

As we are doing the Quests I happen to Check my Xp
I see the Usual you are X Level and Quest is X level experience report...
I think, Okay that is S.O.P. Thats cool... then... I look again.

And then I notice first... No first time completion bonus...

I think wait That's odd... I haven't been in here before...

And THEN I see this... "You have completed this Quest 5 times -20% Xp.

I think Wait a Minute!... What's going on!

I have NEVER been IN here before!

I can understand some things they Did on Korthos ...
And understand why they may have done them,
Even though, I may or May not agree wiith them...

But What I can't understand is getting Slammed
with XP DEPT for "Repetition", When I have NEVER been in the Quest!

This is something that I am NOT happy with.

As I ahve said before I am pretty much a casual gamer so my time is limited,
and taking a penalty I do not rate, hurts... Bad.

And Getting penalized for "repeating" a Quest
when you have Never been in a Quest before is Just NOT fair!

Whether you are level 1; Or... Level 16 and capped since Beta...

First time in a quest is first time in a Quest! What gives!

Is there anything that can be done about this?
Or is this working as directed?

If it is, then I too am going to be counted among the .... disgruntled.

You have done the quests before

They just looked different

Pretty much all of the quests in the NPE except one are just revamps of the old level 1 Solo/Normal quests

But you HAVE been in those quests. Each of those quests are just old quests reworked and renamed. If you ran the Goodblades quests on elite before the mod, you have credit for three Korthos quests on elite. If you ran each of them 8 times, going in on Korthos will still be your 9th time in.

Okay I guess I stand corrected, but
isn't that just MORE confusing.

I mean, I understand they refurbished some of the old quests
and for the most part I kind of like the Changes...

Hacking through the Webs in the Aqueduct was cool...
but Technically speaking... We have Not been through these...

I can be argued that even though, we went through Goodblades.
That was Goodblades, this is Korthos.

That is like saying, Okay Just because the SAME archetect
built the Sewers... you don't get as much experience for clearing them...
never mind that All the encounters are different...

It still feels like we are being punished for starting Characters before Mod 8.

I admit I may be wrong, But it still don't feel quite right.

Bekki, man! I know the feeling. But realise, to make sure the favour part of the quests was done right (i.e. the new toons got robbed cuz the Goodblades don't "exist") they probably linked the two quests together. Hey, Trissa, my main, has "The Miller's Debt" done on elite and it is still worth 2 favour.

I guess I can see that, so then I guess I should ask,
What quests have they merged?
And
Could the Devs post something to let us know?

I was away for while and really only got back post mod.

This was kind of a shock, I might have missed it
But it looked like none of the release notes mentioned.
The merge of favor for the Korthos/ Goodblades quests...

Is there something somewhere that addresses this?
