Stuck Launcher

Hi All
Been away from the game for quite a while, but re-upped this morning.
I am trying to launch the game (never removed from my computer) and am stuck in "waiting" in the "Examining Program" line. Has there been changes to how we launch the game? Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Be prepared to completely uninstall and reinstall the game. A lot of problems have arisen with this mod, and the only cure all for it has been a fresh download of the game...

If you are stuck at examine programs and have a firewall you will need to remove and re-add the firewall exceptions to update and play. If that does not help please let us know more about how you connect - this type of issue usually is network security related.
