Weird Graphical Issues

I'm having some interesting problems since MOD8.

Ocassionaly, when I load in to the new Reaver area all I don't get all the images. For example, I can see NPC and Characters, but no water, furniture, plants, or walls. Everyone seems to be standing in mid-air. Changing instances can fix this, or logging out and back in. Sometimes this can take several tries.

The most interesting thing though happened last night. I had a party member that I could not see! Nothing we tried worked. We ran the entire Prey of the Hunter quest and I could never see him. Everyone else could see him, he could see me. We dropped party, both logged out and back in, recalled, stood on our heads and danced with the kolbolds. Nothing worked.

I'm running XP, so am not using DX10.

I had the same problem.....it would happen to me when I swapped from one toon to the other if they were both in Reavers Refuge. I was having to resart my client to get graphics to load. Now if I wanna switch....it takes longer...but just take the toon to new explorer area then logout and log in with new toon. And I didn't want to mention it earlier cause I didn't want everyone to know how UBER they were compared to me since they would stand in mid air........THAT"S LEVITATION HOMES!!!!

Have you had the perma-invisible party member thing? It was pretty funny.

no haven't got that yet. I really do wonder what causes it. The best part is trying to run around when it looks like that and trying to guess where everything is then falling into the water and not being able to get out.

Same was happening with me, whenever I switched toons, the inn I loaded into was missing things (such as the bar, walls, etc). I did capture a screenie of the portable hole:

I was thinking it was just an anomoly in the Reaver's Refuge. Did you log in a character before this one, who was also in the Hole?

with me so far it's just been The Refuge. I guess we could look at it as a way to practice the Abott tile room?
