hair color problems

My hair color seems to be not working corectly in the Chr menu or in the CHR creation section.

The colors look all faded out

-In game the hair color looks fine. If i click on my self the picture in the focus orb has faded out hair, but not my chr walking in the world. Also its only hair-

It is the work of Clairol.

The in-game view is how others see you -- full of color and life.

The other views are how Clairol wants you to see yourself. They sell more product that way.

Most of my characters have purple hair and it now looks black on sign in screen and character generator! I am shocked! Hair is an expression of myself! I want my purple hair back! Back i tell you. I will hold my breath till this wrong is corrected! <starts turning blue><starts banging hand on table> help me....

<gasps> Okay um I mean I won't eat... yah... <sneaks a cookie> well this wrong should be corrected any minute, this is just in anticipation... yah. That's it.

Having similar problem, My hair is grey in the character screen and focus orb, however from my pov behind my character, its normal.

Vista also, although different card.

A friend of mine has been complaining about his cleric's hair not appearing red on the character selection screen as well, so it seems fairly widespread.

I had that problem when I turned on DX10. Good news is - I found a fix for it... turning DX10 off. Granted, it's nothing game-breaking. But it was more than annoying enough for me to get annoyed and be done with it. When I look at my character, or anybody elses for that matter, I want them to look the way they actually were made to look - and not like they need spray-on hair color.

I'll wait till DX10 is out of beta for DDO. Right now it's a lot like most of the new content in mod 8... buggy as hell.
