Seriously... 1GB of RAM is plenty enough to run this game. Vista is also not a problem. I run ddo on athlon 64 x2 5000+, 1gb pc4200 ddr2, radeon hd 4870 1gb, and windows vista. I can play ddo windowed on my lcd while watching a blu-ray on my hdtv. I do not lag in shroud, and hardly ever in sub, despite others claiming constant lag. I would definitely say Sambvca's problem lies elsewhere.

every shroud run in part 1 as soon as the portals come up the rest of the party has to tell me when the portal is down. I am pretty much usless until part 1 is over, and then have to wait for the shrine and chests to spawn....

Nope - I ran Vista on a Notebook with 2 gigs a factory video card and a processor probably haldf that speed. Very little lag experienced while running the Shroud and actually only DC'ed once, fell behind maybe twice.

trust me mate I have the same problems as well.. I get 15% loss in parts 1,4,5 all the time.. I noticed this shortly after update 7.1... before 7.1 fine after Lagorama...

and nothing changed, not my pc, not my internet connection, Nothing... Just one day I'm a lagger in that raid

Interesting, I have exactly the same specs, O/S and card...and the same problem...
