That actually great advice period Milli. Doesn't matter if you're in the heat or cold DRINK WATER! In fact during basic I would also tell you don't drink kool-aid or anything else but water and milk at chow time. You'll be better for it.

Yea, my recruiter told me about the cool aid thing. That it is some type of korean or chinese heavy alcohol made from rice and the taste of alcohol totally disappears if you mix it with anything. So no cool aid for me lol.

LMAO, I got back from training the Army Electronic Warfare a couple years back in Iraq and YES, get used to the disorganized. Being in the Navy, and seeing how the Army works just made me that much more grateful. Don't get me wrong, the Army is an outstanding service, but the organizational issues need major rework. Good luck and grats on your new career path
