    Default Curious

Who played a Cleric as their main/first capped toon (whatever the cap was at the time you started)?

Kraak was my first main/first cap/28pt build. Capped to 10/12/14 as a Cleric and now is a Cleric/Barb 15/1.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Thelanis players only please. Hence the posting on Thelanis

Lysol ftw my first toon to 10/12/14/16

I had another cleric before that-Khazzak, to open up drow favor, but he was seriously gimped and deleted after I made 1750 with Lysol.

AlfredSartan, Human cleric, Turbine default stats (14 STR, 10 CON , 14 WIS)

He's capped, and still my default raid cleric, for all that he can't jump or stay on his feat.. even with a BOLAS Green steel item. Green steel means he's plenty useful to a raid party despite the

Interesting to compare him from the Risia transfer and from now..

    Are negative responses ok?

I think my second char was a cleric. But I only got her to lvl 5 and rerolled her as a Drow with a maxed Wis.....since I couldn't get some wisdom rune somewhere.

She was my third capped char. But since the Shroud came out, people's expectations of me to have a full backpack of resourses has caused me to semi-retire her.

Every now and then I break her out for a quest, and quickly realise why I never play her anymore.

I am very surprised that anyone still plays a cleric in this game actually.

And sad thing is.....I'm a really good cleric IMO. I can heal very fast... (use to be faster, but I standerdised my keyboard with all my char and actually slowed down my clerics healing ability)

But a third string toon, with third string equipment, and an empty pocketbook.

I learned a lot from my cleric....if that is part of the reson for your post.

I watch health bars and blue map dots on all my char.
And I heal people as best I can if the char I'm playing can do so......or I ask someone else to in the party to help someone I see that is in trouble.

I do think people should play a cleric early in this game to see what it is like.

Talon, It is true that your average pick up group will be far quicker to say the cleric was why they failed than why they succeeded. I would run into serious aggravation every now and then on my way up with Alfred.. I mostly Pugged back then...

The answer is you get in a good guild, and you take your turn as the cleric.. and when you pug, when you have the confidence and experience, it's fun knowing when to let the red bars drop.. there's a perverse joy in letting someone who isn't being, constructive, shall we say? die..

I was in a PUG in the vale with a really awful cleric a week or two back.. he drew a bunch of aggro, burned up all his SP, and started begging me for a heal.. I hung back to watch his health slowly drop as the gnolls picked on him and took his stone to the shrine. Sweet misery.

Also, of course, clerics turn into killing machines around level 11.. if you can stand to make it that far..

Clerics are uber dude. If you're running shroud its hard to not make a lot of plat. 12 level 17 chests and maybe 20 heal scrolls spent in a bad run. You're still winning there and you get to pull your weight instead of leeching off the rest of us. How's that for two great tastes that taste great together?

Satya was my first capped and I played her and only her for about my first year and a half in game.

My first "main" was Levonestral (elf wiz), he capped out at level 10 originally and has been retired ever since. After that I created Searros (Drow cleric) and capped him at 10/12/14/16. I have 2 other capped clerics that I also play quite often and another that was retired at the 12 cap. Although I have many other alts, over two years later, Searros continues to hold on to the "main" status still to this day.

Alandale was my first Character and Cleric. 28 Pt of course, Capped to 10,12,14, and now 16. Still in regular rotation even though I've now added Allendale, Alandael, and my ROgue Cleric Steelyn.

My wife's first capped character was her cleric Justice, although she later rerolled her as a 32pt char after she hit 1750 favor. I'm making my second attempt at a cleric now, and I'm up to level 6.

Thrudh is a cleric... first built, but second to cap... However the first character I took to cap was a rogue MC (who was retired at 13 and is now my mule).

But Thrudh is still going strong.. 28 point build too...

Not sure I'd call him my "main"... I don't really have a "main"... I like and play all my characters fairly equally...

My cleric Montu was the first character I created in the game and he is still active. He is the only 28 pt build I have left and I can't bring myself to reroll him as a 32 pt build. Too many good memories of dungeon adventures and "oh $*&%" moments with him and the other members of our small guild. Montu (cleric), Gullman (rogue) and Kaarnack (barbarian) ran most of the content up to lvl 10 as a three man group.

I just don't have high enough levels of estrogen to play a cleric. I keep trying.
