    just on trial accounts and whining like babies. They Said it's an issue they are trying to resolve.

    Us Paying customers have a bit higher of a priority atm, and lets see they put in new servers and are working on fixing lag related issues for those that pay, but you free ride peeps wanna complain??????

    I have a novel ideal pay up the 15 bux and get a real account if you don't like the game then close it.

    Some of us don't like to give money away.

    You don't go to a food store and give the shopkeep 15 bucks for food that "might be great or might be rotten"

    Think logically please.

    The fact is, the customer service here is lack lustre to say the least. And you should expect trial accounts to whine about problems. Some of us like myself are really keen to play this, we are after all still here after 3 days of our 10 day trial have been voided through problems.

    As much as i applaude the loyalty of your gaming being from "headstart and paying annually" the fact is irrelevant. You strike me as the elitist type that have been around harping on how they have been "around since Beta" in every game you touch, which you get in some games more than most. And i hope you do not account for the majority of game players as that would mean the both the customer service AND the player base would be dire.

    I disagree tottally that existing customers are higher priority and a 10 day trial is not as you say "A free ride". It is a trial, something the game uses to gain more customers. I think so far there have been 5 complaining about not being able to access the game on their trials and only yourself that have come in saying the very usefull advice of paying customer are more important. Well basic maths decrees that 5 is more than 1.

    We would just like to know a timeframe on the problem, something as simple as "Longer than a week" would be more than adequate.

    I also have a novel idea, if you arn't posting on a technical assistance forum to assist. Button it.

    Considering the trial is a gauge for new players to decide if they want to become subscribers (and we can certainly use that if we want to keep a game we enjoy up and running), I think it is important to not have potential new customers' first impressions be that Turbine can not keep players in game.

    No one has been really negative about it and they have a reasonable expectation of an estimate of when/if this will be fixed or how/if they can get missed time re-applied.

    I also don't know how it helps us as a community to be rude to people who are considering joining us before we have even let them in the door.

    Another example of a person who obviously want's what's best for the game, right? Ever hear that you only get one chance to make a first impression? Two things:

    1) What does the fact that you are a paying customer have to do with ANYTHING?
    2) This game dies without fresh blood (i.e. money). Is this how we are going to get fresh blood, by bashing new people?

    Try thinking about the bigger picture before you run your mouth.

    Ouch sorry folks. One thing I will say, that is if you want uniqueness in terms of real time combat and excellent character build/customization - this is the place and is worth dealing with a little bit of nonsense. If these two things are of minimal importance to you in an MMO, then save yourself the time and move on.

    Im not in the mood for a flame war BLAKROC so i'll just agree to disagree.

    Thats exactly what im after personally Samadhi, its why i liked City of Villains. The character build/customisation on that was amazing. But the closer this is to pen and paper D+D the better.

    I know its an odd question seeing as its an MMO but is this game closer to 3.5? I can't stand the 4th ed content.

    And for everyone else waiting on trials its still not up.

    Wow, thanks for helping out the people that were thinking about paying/playing. Great way of helping the player base.

    BLAKROC does not represent the bulk of the views of the DDO community. It's unfortunate that the servers aren't letting trial accounts in - it's a pity that Turbine doesn't step in and give an ETA on the fix, but we all hope you stick around, especially as module 8 has a completely revamped new player experience which is aiming to attract a whole swathe of new players.

    the trial accounts won't be active again until mod 8 goes live, at least that is the way i remember it. should be searchable. so that is why at this time trial accounts are futile.

    It's good to see that you changed your attitude BLAKROC... Well... Slightly...
    I bought a 60 day prepaid, but that didn't work, contacted support, but I believe I have to wait until tomorrow.
    So I used the guest pass.
    But I'd still like to play even if I'm using a guest pass.
