Bodyfeeding Rapier of puncturing

Anyone else dual weilding these on there barb? I like them better than my wops. I only kill a little slower and my barb has and extra dr15. They are awesome.

para of puncturing is a tad gimped in high end content, saves to high..still a nice combo

in high end content 2x is always refreshing your 15hps, it maybe overkill but its very very nice...its extra nice while soloing content or without a cleric on a barb

I've had no luck finding them, or still after 2.5 years any WOP rapiers, but I would love to try dual Bodyfeeder of Puncturing rapiers.

Anyone have any extras?

Oh yeah, duel wielding bodyfeeding of pucturing rapiers is one of my most favorate combos. Should probably slap them on my barb but I really enjoy them on my rogue. Barb is using WoP shortsword and some other run of the mill pucturer for now instead.

Used to have 2; one had to go in a trade to get a WoP rapier and the other one was donated to a buddy since I didnt have a matching set I found them to be pretty useful even though they don't drop stuff as fast as the WoP. They definitely increased survivability.

Been on this bandwagon with my ranger Dellek since mod5ish. I have never ever looked back. It pretty much equates to DR 15/- as previously mentioned, makes soloing a breeze, and puts a smile on your clerics face.

To me it is the most stable and self sufficent weapon pairing in the game.

Too bad I didn't corner the market before I started mentioning how good it was to folks.

Just a question for ya, I had been dual wielding Bodyfeeder of puncturing for some time, but I noticed when I used something else in my other hand that the bodyfeeder portion (the extra 15 HP) was always refreshed so fast that it was really pointless using dual bodyfeeder of puncturing rapiers.

I then went to a WOP rapier main hand and a bodyfeeder of puncturing off hand and that worked out beautifully for the longest time. However just recently I think I found the perfect combo. A main hand para of puncturing and a off hand bodyfeeder of puncturing. Anytime the puncturing works the para works as well, or near enough.

Anyhow my question...

Is there something I am missing that I didn't see with dual bodyfeeder of puncturing rapiers vs. a single bodyfeeder?

The thing is that you have a chance to gain those temp hitpoints on EVERY single swing. While having a single bodyfeeder means that you will have the temp hitpoints most of the time, wielding two of them, with 8 attacks means that twice every 6 seconds or so you have +15 temp HP. With a single bodyfeeder in the off hand you get the temp HP much less frequently, about once every 8 seconds. Think about the difference when you are in a meat grinder situation. The frequency of those extra HP are the difference between tough and dead. At least that has been my experience.

I haven't gotten a bfop rapier yet...however, my barbarian uses a wop rapier in my primary with a bfssop in my off hand....i almost always have the temp hp running on trash mobs. That combined with the barbarian DR makes for some lovely survivablility.
