Who's the best Cleric you ever group?

Yeah, that was definitely a tears running down fmy face incident, lol.

That run was the hardest I have ever laughed in my life (without drugs), unbelievable. The famous words "awww you coulda warned me" still makes me laugh. You and Dethe were great. Support you local clerics people. No matter what your class is. or lack thereof.

Has Talleary made this list yet? If not, she should! Talleary is awesome and a blast to play with. Another guildie who deserves mention is Healemup. Not necessarily for his healing ability but rather for the stupifying number of blade barriers he throws around and his penchant for getting gacked by all that aggro he draws!

True, Talleary is pretty darn good.

And there have been many occasions that Healemup has saved a party by 'taking one (or several) for the team' .
One of these days I am going to learn that a cleric has more than two memmed spells and 4 metamagics (Blade Barrier, Heal (self-only of course), Maximized, Empower (who needs empowered healing anyway), Extend, and Quicken (the ultimate life-saver -- when I can get it off in time).

And I am getting much better at diplomacy, so watch out party...

I have to say Metasin,Metasyn, and all his many little clerics too. He does what he needs to do to keep the group...no matter how expensive or how trivial the quest. Never complains (only to me ) There are a lot of others out there though.

Hmmm.....there are certainly a lot of great clerics on this server, hard to choose a single best. At the least I can cut it down to a few in particular.

Healemup - the few times I've run with him, he's done an incredible job of keeping everyone up
Talleary - By far one of the most entertaining Clerics I've ever had the fortune to run with.
Panzzy - Lots of fun to run with and very talented.
Baconstrip - Been a looooong time since I've run with him, but never a bad run that I can recall.

I'm sure there are tons of others as well, however these are the only ones that spring to mind at the moment.

From a clerics point of view (we are very critical of other clerics) here are the top few that come to mind
1. Baconstrip - essentially solo cleric'd Shroud part 4 elite way back in the day when only one or two groups had completed it, impressed the hell out of me and I wasnt even in his guild, yet
2. Hexxana - always a good show, and I like the fact she is willing to put together groups
3. Nibby - even though we didnt always get along, he was always a top notch cleric, and appologies were given all around, sorry to see him go.
4. ANY LEVEL 16 CLERIC that doesn't whine about not having enough spell points or resources. I know it was tough at lower levels when you are casting heal off of scrolls only, but for the most part, any cleric worth their salt, has enough spell points by level 16 for almost any quest and should barely touch resources, so when they have to use resources it should be minimal. So thanks to all those who heal my butt and not complain!!!!

And to Groans comment about me - of course I never B**ch about what items you did or didnt wear, no need to heal you, or anyone else for that matter, if all the mobs are dead! We miss you Groan!

Thanks to all that gave me a nod, and to everyone I group with on a regular basis, I group with you when I'm on my cleric because I dont mind healing your butts!

Hmph.. no specific mention of Drhealgood in that list - just the "and of course, all NSR clerics". Guess it's because I prefer to play one of my other toons and fairly rarely cleric outside of guild groups. Only on special occasions or angelic voices do I switch. But since there's the love, I guess I'll heal yer zerging *** if/when you get back.

J/K, I got my PC back last Monday, but UPS really beat the heck out of it during shipping. I got it to work for about a half hour on Wednesday, then it blew up again. So who knows when I'll actually be able to play again.

Observation here...

The good clerics almost go unnoticed by many, since the party does not end up having issues with players dying, teams wiping, etc. Kinda the absense of a negative, and that can be harder to notice.

While the contributions of many melees and arcanes tend to be more visual to all.

I have to agree that some or most of the best Clerics don´t get noticed, but if you know the game, and see whats happening around you in certain quests-Pugs and see what a certain Cleric is able to do....then at a later time you´ll get a certain feeling of confidence when he joins your Raid and/or Quest.

I believe that is what makes us nominate our favorite-preffered Clerics.
