Default Wizard splash for bonus feat?

So I've been looking at a lot of cleric builds, and it seems they are very pressed for feats if they want to be more than just a healbot, and was wondering whether splashing 1 level of wizard for that bonus metamagic feat would be worthwhile.

Perfectly viable. It even has synergy with the common Stormreaver's Napkin.

Dwarves can get some pretty insane SP with Cleric 15/Wiz 1, not as much as if they went sorcerer, but it's still completely viable.

I wouldnt you can get enough feats without it remember you will be getting another feat at lvl 18 when mod 9 hits. and with a shroud item you can easily drop at least one of the mental toughness feats.

Will it seriously hurt your character? No. Would I do it? No. While the extra feat may be nice, I don't think there's anything vital that you can't already fit into a pure cleric build.

I did this early in the game, mainly to get the extra feat, extend, and use repair wands for the WFs in the group. It was great up until level 13ish. The I found i plenty of healing power for the WF party members and a few extra feats i could play with. I've regretted it since.

Though i must say, Detect secret doors and Expiditious Retreat were great little spells, but i could have just gotten clickies for them too.

Default As many have already said ...

    And I echo the sentiment...

We are not that pressed for Feats. With a shroud item Improved Mental Toughness is not really needed.

I would drop it and stay pure cleric.

I think this is a better idea for a WF Cleric.
Not necessary, but nothing really wrong with it either.
And I see more benifit to it if the cleric is WF.

(or some crazy TWF/THF/Ranged build...especially ranged actually...flame arrow wands, and 2 min shield spell)

If you're gonna take a level a wizard it would make sense to take advantage of it's other benefits, namely wand usage. In particular I'd recommend wands of stone skin, false life, and maybe blur.
