Currently there is no trial version available due to Turbine's efforts to stop plat farmers. The new trial version will be coming out with Module 8. Expected to be around mid November.

They accept Visa, Amex, MC, Discover, and some other wonky thing too.. I think 14.99 is like 1 month's subscription so really - you're getting the game for free.. (the digital version includes 30-days).
