An important announcement regarding premium services.

Hi everyone,

As of Friday October 24th at 5pm(EST) Turbine will be temporarily suspending premium services for AC, DDO, and LOTRO. Any request received before Friday at 5pm will be processed, so if you have been wanting to transfer servers or have a character renamed please place your request before Friday the 24th at 5pm. You can find the request form at the link below.

I think it is extremely funny/frustrating that I see this post right after I put a request
in to move 3 characters.......


You would think that the premium services website would have stopped me from
making the order.

I used the 'Premium Services' link from the main ddo.com page and it took me straight
there for a character transfer.

Please let us know when this is back up and working.

Just remember not to bill my credit card if you don't move the characters.

Just wait. You'll get an email saying they couldn't do it because premium services is down, and at the bottom of the email will be a little notice saying "come see what you can do with premium services!"

My opinion... why?

Server merge? It's the only theory I have, I didnt like to move a 32pt build to another server to create new 32pt and then merge and not being able to create toon anymore like now

It's not just DDO Max, it's all of Turbine's properties, including LOTRO. Who knows why...

Unfortunately we do not have a specific date at this time, as stated previously they should be available again in late November.

Yeah I know it concern Lotro too but it still smell server merge. I loose my french guild on Thelanis since Warhammer Online is out, maybe Lotro suffer too...

Yes it's not very funny for the guy or girl that pay to play DDO and he can't play because he order to move all character in another server. Before I did the request I had 9 characters, I full 6 characters and I delete 3 to transfer 6 on 9. My wife did the same thing, NOW not her and not me can't play because all our characters are very very very full.

In the other server we can't create toon with 32 pts or Drow because we don't have enough favors.

24th october, now is 17 november 3 week later what are you doing DDO??? What is the problem??? And you don't have a date for the service to come back??? STOP We pay for service and we want answer!!! What should we do??? Empty our character in a mule to get a chance to play while we wait and restart the process when we can switch server???

Are we gonna get a warning before our charaters are move? I'm all full with all my toon because I erase 3 of them to move less toon and pay less so now I can't play. If a create a mule to be able to play while I wait and then you guys move me and my mule stays behind with all my things I'm all f... up. I don't want to lose my stuff.

And by the way why didn't you block the page instead of making us go through the process and tell us after that we can't make a transfer??

It is very annoying and things like that made 3 of my friends quit DDO.

So how long to I have to wait before I can play again???
