My first Drow Bard.

I love drow characters and the idea of the bard class. I know that the bard is one of the best suited classes for a Dark elf so I decided to try it. But I'm new to it. Give me some advice as to what to focus and work on with my new char and items i should try to obtain.

Post this in the bard forum and not drow forum some of the bard experts will see it there. Drows make the best cc spellsinger first healing bards second race in the game. The problem is at end game ccing for bards is not possible. Mod 8 might change all of this, but I would look to make a build with 20 charisma and decent con with perhaps a little strength so you can pick up warchanter if you play the game long enough to get a +2 str or +3 str tome, but stay with spellsinger for now and max your charisma and don't dump your constitution ( have at least a 12 starting con without tomes).
