Looking for AC +8 bracers... someone must have a spare pair?

RR human is OK.

I have larges and plat, and some rare items - name your (reasonable) price.

I traded mine for 100 blue dragon scales, decked out ecko, misterecko, hurly and mase in dragon armor. people say i got a bad deal. I got what i wanted.

I wouldn't say you got a bad deal... I saw some RR elf ones on the AH a few weeks ago for 1500k plat buyout (I was broke or I would have bought them). They stayed on the AH for a few days (I believe a reposting or two) before they were bought. conversely 25 blue dragonscales went for 450 k plat typically... price seems to be rising lately, but that would sorta indicate you recieved 1800kplat for your bracers..

Yeah, +8 AC Bracers ain't no W/P Rapier, but they're still worth a chunk.

Whoever told you that you got ripped off was jealous he didn't get the bracers himself.

oh okay didn't realise they were quite so rare... I'll give up on this trade..

back to hunting for lightning split soarwood for me then - maybe those +8 bracers will drop in Caged Trolls (Elite!) if I'm lucky...

Any luck in caged trolls for soarwood? I have had decent luck in greymoon, co6 and tanglroot elite.. Basically got 1 lightning split soarwood for every sprint through the respective quest chains... though its probably more efficient to just farm 1 quest in the chain at a time..

but seriously, I like Caged Trolls because there's a cabinet immediately you go in with a ~0.8% chance to pull a lightning split, then you can go upstairs and there's about a 5% chance of getting a silver flame hymnal in the bookcase at the top, then you can recall and reset with a friend. If I'm soloing I combine Caged Trolls with Rest for the Restless (silver flame hymnal: 5%) and 1 bloodstone run and then everything's usually reset.

It's sad that my DDO life has come to this - waiting for mod 8!

I got 3 lightning split soarwoods in 3 complete runs through the greymoon/C06 chain while leveling my lowbie cleric (kinda a duel-purpose run). I'm not sure if these quest chains have a higher drop rate, or if clerics get +1 to loot, or if I'm just lucky, but I think thats were I'll be headed these days if i get time to farm. (plus you can get some decent lowbie twink gear dropping from the C06 chain). good luck with finding them

And as to luck... wasn't it you that posted about picking up a w/p rapier on the AH?
