I usually take tips but dont ask for them.

The curious thing though is that people have tipped me in quests were nothing went wrong. Maybe they though I had something to do with it, but I think it was a good group.

When on my barbarian I usually tip the cleric when we get wipped or something like that happens, if the run goes smooth I dont.

    • A WF arcane caster can SELF REPAIR and repair the other WF! No need for a cleric.
Granted, not all WF are self reliant. But then again, neither are any other character races.

My fighter uses heal scrolls on others to help out the cleric during quests. Where's my tip?

A WF caster is or can be a clerics best friend. Your fighter isn't really just a fighter is he? He can self heal. Your barbarian who uses tactics and have actually spent AP (or at least more than one rank) is not common compared to hack and slash WF melees. With a PuG you don't know who you are running with and you don't know who is self reliant. You may not be a sponge and may even be an asset to the cleric when it comes to keeping the party up and running, but there are a lot of others who are not. Unless I know you I can't tell.

No I don't join a party on my cleric when the group looks like it'll take more healing than I can handle because I don't want to waste my time or theirs. I have no problems admitting that I won't usually join a group that is one that would typically be hard on the sp to the point of spending a ton of plat just to complete even if things go well, and almost never join that group if they are trying to do something over their head on top of that.

Once you hit 11 on your cleric and have access to the heal spell WF tend to be easier to heal. But at level 7 to 9 doing the Thernal series with no other classes that can heal and a few WF in the mix then ya I'm not joining that group.
