That last post i typed made no sense, but regardless here is an update"

-DDO runs fine with the onboard videocard which is a nvidia 6150 LE or something like that

-I can get the computer to a point where it will run with the nvidia 7900 card fine. But when i try and start DDO and Windows Media Center, which are the only two programs i have found that crashes it so far, the screen begins to artifact and eventually crashes, sometimes it will stay up and running and just go from black screen to desktop thats artifacted, but usually it just keeps restarting.

-the following may have something to do with it, im not sure, but in the last month my computer has crashed about 6 times from a critical system error, and if im not mistaken i think another one of those happened during this whole debacle

-i would say its the hardware for sure and not the drivers, but nvidia just released new drivers and i was able to get into DDO and media center a couple of days ago, the first time this has done it was saturday afternoon

-even weirder, when i try and download an older version of the drivers, once it begins the downloading process, it pops up a window with the repeated nvidia log as a background........a box pops up and says it cant find any drivers that are compatible with my hardware, so basically the only driver i am able to download is the newest one

So anyone have a clue ?

Sounds like your video card is broken. Do you have any other games on the machine? Definatly doesnt sound like a DDO Issue

Can you get into your system logs? There may be a critical conflict that is in noway related to DDO, yet is affecting how your video card is interacting with your system. And as previously stated, you may have a bunk card. You may want to go to your local shop and pick up a cheapie to test it against.
