Trash or Cash? Does anyone actually use bows?

From my experience, and my friends, the best you can get from this bow is from... the house d brokers, and I regularly see some of those there. I personally tried to sell a banishing bow at the ah for half the base price and gave up selling it to the vendor. I hope this helps.

banishing is good for bows when you multishot. with more rangers going tempest, many have not been able to fit in imp crit: range and hence both banishing and puncturing suffers (due to both being crit range effects). if it was a melee weapon, you would be able to get a good deal.....

Actually, I think the character that would get the most use out of this weapon is one of the Bbn14/Rgr2 builds you see floating around. Most hesitate to use ranged weapons, but with Crit Rage 2, against any non-teleporting outsider, this is a devastating weapon to soften up multiple foes with while they close for melee.

Trash , it was in the brokers and I didn't even look at it twice, there were about 40 garbage banishers smiters and disruptors there yesterday. all at once, didn't take any of them, lol.

most use not must use. given the same effects, a rapier vs a bow. for 20s, the bow is better but for 1min 40s, the rapier overwhelms the bow. such is the nature of the broken-ess of ranged combat that it makes most bows and xbows useless
