Default Halfling weapon finesse tempest fighter

Did this build for a friend of mine, since he was looking to do a tempest build, but had no idea where to start. Of course, I can't bring myself to roll anything but halflings, so this is what he got.

    Constructive criticism greatly appreciated.

EDIT: My apologies for the terrible formatting.

with current end game content filled with evil outsiders, it is a very good idea to drop giant FE.

swop 2 fighter for 2 monk, get evasion, wear robes and get higher ac than with armor on.
If you want to know why...

I would think about dropping the fighter altogether taking two monk levels and going the rest ranger as they are going to have tempest II and III at 12 and 18 I belive. might not even need the monk lvls as the ranger will give you evasion as well, as there have been a few hints about capstone enhancments for lvls 19 and 20

Thanks for replying so quickly : ]

I currently have a tempest rogue, and have a higher ac with robes, so I imagine monk levels would increase that even more so. It's also the toon I have the most fun with, I can always tweak it a little bit and see which he would prefer, not that he's a picky guy (however, it took me forever to talk him out of getting diehard on every toon he rolls).

I haven't heard anything about Tempest II and III, is it simply a larger increase in melee speed and dual-weilding ac bonus?

Generally a bad idea for someone with higher dex than str to have more fighter levels than ranger (or rogue). Ranger or rogue would provide you with more sources of damage, which you need with that low strength.

I don't recommend taking more than 4 fighter levels on a Finesse character. (Maybe you could go up to 8, but that's pushing it).

I thought if you take monk you can only use the evasion if your using monks weapons? Doesn't it make you off balance?

It's always been my opinion that when you hit fast, you don't necessarily have to hit hard. When you're swinging two weapons with tempest speed stacked with haste, and critting on 16's, a few points on the strength modifier won't make a noticeable difference.

Um, you know the strong rangers are swinging two weapons with tempest speed and haste, and critting on 17s for TRIPLE damage and have +5 Favored Enemy over you as well as +7 strength over you...?

The viewpoint that "dex guys get TWF to make up for lower strength" could have validity if the actual dex requirement for GTWF was pretty high, but that's not the case in DDO. In D&D GTWF requires 19 dex, while in DDO it only takes 17. (And strong rangers don't need dex to get those feats)

this is wrong. evasion just need light armor to work in, weapons have no effect
