Perhaps the wrong thread to say this, but....

Con damage is not "the cool new thing." Anyone that has played a dex build, or a strategic party, has known for a long time - since CO6 looting days - that con damage is the number one way to bring down mobs.

    Stop the hate!!

PS If you, as a tank, think that just because you do not have w/p - that you can't do con damage - go pick up a keen rapier or a high + wounder - and realize the revolution most of us have been following for 2 years.

Doesn't even need to be a piercing weapon to do wounding, only puncturing. Don't worry about it being keen, just get one that you have imp crit for [not that wounding makes any diff only puncturing uses crit range anyway].

The Reality- Those kobolds in Water Works won’t have a chance but nothing else cares-Learn to play your build and all its abilities in actual difficult content, get gear and reaper points in level 30+ content and raids.

I would second that. If the mob is very high con and you have a single tank after it, then maybe timing your death spell to hit after 4 or 5 swings is ok. Anything later is probably just a waste of sp and you would be better to target a mob that the tank(s) havent already engaged.

If your goal is flesh to stone to take a mob out of the equation (especially for re-spawning mobs) then its never too late really to take advantage of the lower con. Hopefully in those cases the tanks have the good sense to move on as soon as they see the "stoning" effect occur.
