Default Human vs Dwarf (well wf too!) axe vs human buff

Am i understanding correctly that if i roll a warchanter ..

a dwarf will have +2 to hit and +2 damage over..(using an axe)

a warfordged and a human? do warforged or human get anything to balance this out.. a +10% chance to hit seem like it could matter alot..

Racial Boni relevant for a Warchanters.

Humans gets a extra Feat at level 1, which is cool. They also can get +1 STR through ehancements and Healing amplificating, with which they recieve more HP healed by each healing source, but the last thing stops mattering once Clerics get the "Heal" spell, so its only nice while leveling till you reach level 11.

Warforged get some nice immunities, they are thougher (+2 KON, soon coming thoughness enhanceents), and can get better Power Attack. And if you plan on using "Stunning Blow" on your STR-based Warchanter they get enhancement to make that Feat even stronger. A big drawback is that they recieve only 50% effect from divine healing.

Dwarfes are also thougher (+2CON, thoughness enhancemnts), get boni when fighting with axes, and boni on saves against spells. And they also get the same Stunning Blow enhancemets.

All 3 races have their pros and cons. Overall the dwarf seems to be "the best", but they are not that far apart that you would do a great mistake bychoosing the one you find cooler.
Erzskalde (Warchanter) / Erzassassin (just passing through - ignore me) / Erzsoldat (waiting for TR-time) / Erzschmied (ranged Artificer)

Yea you can get Human versatility for +5 to AC, Damage, Hit, Saves, and Skills.

These are basically clickies, with a duration of 20 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds (IIRC, havnt been playing for a while).

So, depending on your class of course, it is possible to completely overshadow that dwarven axe mastery, but it is not sometihng that is always applied to your attacks.

For example, as a human barbarian who is hitting Harry on a 2, you can keep a +5 damage buff on yourself for 66% of a 2min 30 second timeframe. So roughly a +3.33 damage buff to whatever weapon you use. But the key here is that you only got 5 clickies worth, so if your boss fight lasts longer than that it wont be too long before your average 3.33 drops down below 2.

Also, the dwarf would have been doing the +2 to both throughout the whole quest before boss time.

All in all, humans can keep up and even do more damage (providing they hit on a 2, if they dont, and hit on a 7 or greater, they should probably be using the +5 hit clicky to make up the damage) but its not 'on all the time' and gets less useful in comparison as the fights get longer.

I personally prefer HV. Since you can use it for various purposes in various situations. Another thing is that Dwarf Axe mastery, and the +damage HV clickie dont scale. +2 to damage when you are hitting lets say 3d6+50 with a Greensteel Greataxe is far less significant than when you are doing 1d12+30 while levelling with a standard greataxe lets say. 2 of 60.5 versus 2 of 36.5, the latter is a far greater percentage damage increases.

Humans can get +2 to any stat ( including strength) eventually I believe. That means the dwarf getting the +2 attack and +2 axe damage doesn't seem so much better. Plus the +2 strength can apply to any type of weapon (not just axes). +2 strength might even mean +2 damage when using a 2 handed weapon (depending on the strength total) and the strength adds to the DCs of trip/sunder/stunning blow etc.

The human versatility buffs are great for multiclassed characters also.

They do/will not I believe... they split human adaptability yet made them dependent for a reason. Human stat enhancements are higher in level then any other race also... the progression would mean adding another +1 to either of them well above level 20.

Human stat enhancements, at mid level you get a +1 to any stat you choose, at a higher level (round 14-15) the 2nd opens up, and you get a +1 to any OTHER STAT, you can not take it in the same. But, this is helpful, as you get a +1 to primary class stat no matter what class, and a +1 to con, or whatever else you may need later. Build accordingly and you can often start say a human sorc, @ 18 chr, 17 con, use the other pts (if 32) between both Wisdom and Int on creation, and get better will save, and more skill pts. Then with human adaptability (enhancement for stats) still raise Con by 1 and Chr by 1 later, or vis versa. AND have Class stat enhancements still...

That is what I said... I said in order to go beyond +1 on any stat via adapability or greater adaptability they would have to be placed above level 20 in progression which will not happen.
