There is a difference between actual value and people ganging up against potential buyers and inflating the value. Anyone who has this much money should know what they're doing though - unless they're buying it.

Well, someone else would have just snatched it from the vendors, there is no way of verifying who put it in the vendors. But there is a way of verifying who sold it for 2.5 to someone who jipped them. Mine was blind luck, theirs was actually taking advantage of someone intentionally. BIG difference... correct me if I'm wrong. I just went for plat to supplement my auction addiction and so that I can afford to give out 30-50 mana pots to clerics for elite shrouds...... I don't see anyone complaining about me spending my plat on them. Next time get your own ****ing pots! Ask around to guildies and non guildies alike how much **** I give away(easily 5 million plat just in large ingredients). And you've been on the receiving end of my generosity too Mav, so get off your high horse

Anyway, Moat's number come out to around 3 Million PP for the items (scales and stones not included) and Boldrin's numbers come out to around 4 Million PP.

I wouldn't pay over 200K PP for either stones or scales (some might pay more for scales and some wouldn't pay as much as I would for stones so let's say the 200K for each evens them out).

I've already established earlier in the thread that I'd probably let the Rapier go for around 9 Million PP so lets work off of that.

I'll take Boldrin's estimated value of the items I'm looking for because he IS the AH wizard. Therefore, in addition to those items, I'd have to ask for 5 Million PP worth of scales/stones or a mix of scales/stones and plat.

If I wanted 5 Million PP of scales/stones I'd like to have 16 Stones and 9 Scales. That satisfies the 2 to 1 ratio of Stones to Scales that I mentioned I wanted in my original post.

Lesser numbers of scales and stones bid would, of course, require a commensurate addition of plat.

Done!!!! I run elite shrouds 2 or 3 times a week, consider yourself hired!! I like my clerics not to be afraid to heal or suck down a pot. I use like 6 when I run elite on my cleric

You know, I was thinking 10 Million plat initially but I'd probably let it go for 9 Million or so. I think Buddy's (The Free Companions) +4 Adamantine WoP Rapier (no RR) should go for around 10 Million if he ever decided to sell it.

I'd expect that they could get 2 +2 WoP rapiers (or one +1 and one +3) for that little gem. Much more than 10m PP; it's probably the best item on any server in the game.

Does anyone know the hardness and durability on that +4 adamantine w/p rapier?

I have a +3 RR w/p rapier which has hardness 27 which I was quite surprised with given the adamantine stuff from relic comes out at hardness 27 as well.

I believe RR increases hardness. (I have a +1 RR WP Rapier that has a pretty high toughness )
