Intimidate ???

what intimidate score is required for end game? i havent seen a post yet that states what it should be?

Edit: also, "required" is a very bad way of putting it. There are a lot of posters who will tell you that intimidate isn't necessary at all, etc. For the new raids on normal, +58 is the place to be to have 100% success. For Elite, +66 should give you 100% success. If you don't care about raid bosses, 40ish will get almost everything in the game, so it really just depends on what your goal is to determine what is "required"...

I'm not an expert on the end-game raids on elite... but from my understanding

50+ is needed to intimidate the end-game raid bosses...

However, 40 intimidate will let you intimidate pretty much everything else in the game...

You can completely control the orthans in the Visions raid or the lieutenants in the Shroud, even on hard (not sure about elite) with just a 40 intimidate...

I've been the intimitank in the Hound 4 times on normal with no failures, and twice on elite with one failure that had nothing to do with intimidate (the outer circle party-wiped and everything ganked the center). Also, VOD normal and elite once each with no failures.

My intimidate is a 34, buffed to maybe 40 or 42.

I do notice that my intimidate sometimes fails, therefore making things get a little rough, or requiring a temporary change of tactics. But usually I can hold agro as long as needed by just turtling up, intimidating, and occasionally shield bashing or doing some other sort of mild damage to keep the mobs from looking around.

The shorter answer is, at level 16 you should have 19 native points, all the charisma bonus you can get via an item (I have a +6 CHA cloak, for +3 skill bonus), all the intimidate bonus you can get via an item (I only have a +10 ring so far... seeking +15 of course). Then beg for all the buffs you can get. Although more is always better, whatever this adds up to will be enough.

thanks for all the reply's , my goal is to be able intimidate everything even raid boss's on elite. So im going for a 60ish intimidate
