    Question Ctrl-Alt-Del?...

Anyone ever had this problem? I always use ctrl-alt-delete to switch back and forth from DDO to windows because when I press alt enter, it messes my hotbars up a bit, causing them to lap over each other. Well recently my ctrl-alt-delete has been giving me problems with DDO. When I press it, it makes the windows error noise. Sometimes if I leave the task manager open and start up DDO, it will work for a bit longer but still fail. Also, sometimes when it does work my task manager appears in a different format than I've ever seen, and I have to mess with it a bit to get it back to the right format. Thanks in advance for any and all help...Gum.

    Default run in a window

ddo does have the option to run it in a window. that way you can still see messengers, websites, etc, easily.

Sounds like your running in fullscreen most of the time. Try setting yourself up for a window the maximum size your screen allows. youll only lose a little viewing area for your task bar at the bottom of the screen.

you can change your window resolution to closely match your full screen, then it won't rearrange your toolbars.

alternatively, make sure another application (e.g. IE or notepad) is running in the background when you launch DDO and to flip out use Alt-TAB.

Ctrl-Alt-Del can switch to the 'secure desktop' (depending on your OS and settings) so this might be freaking DDO out more than is absolutely necessary - Alt-Tab (or alt-enter) is normally a safer option.
