assassinating both gnolls in The Shroud

it takes some timing and luck obviously, but if you position yourself between them and have two weapon fighting and high intelligence and max rogue levels you can assassinate the gnolls in The Shroud.

once i even assassinated both of them at the same time. my rogue is currently lv 16 and has a 25 intelligence. not bad.

I had a dual assassination last night.

I was soloing Tangleroot for the goggles which I somehow sold. I was obviously wading through it with ease because I'm level 12 and the mobs are 3-6. However, I got that stupid dance spell cast on me on the last part and died. I came back in and stealthed my way through instead of fighting and found the group that killed me. They were blocking a hallway so I couldn't stealth past. I lined up on one of the witchdoctors and hit assassinate. Both dropped immediately.

Cool skill. I just got it a couple of days ago but so far, I like it!

Getting them both can be tricky. I've done it once or twice, but other times I ended up missing them both. I think I'll stick with killing one of them off the bat, then beating the other down about three seconds later.

Just thought of something I love about assassination. I was out in the vale with and was sneaking around trying out the assassination. There was a couple of baddies around (near the devil chest on the way to Rainbow), 2 lions and a troll. Took one of the lions out, then backed up and the troll walked over to the dead lion and stood there for a couple seconds then walked back to where he was first standing...

Thought that was awesome.

i hit 2 devils with it on rainbow hard the other day, with the way they tele, I chalk it up to PURE LUCK, was still freaking awesome though, anyone play halo?

9's my record on Banishment out it the Vale (back when my Sorc had it) - charm one resilient mob (Orthons work well), then when a whole pack of mobs teleport onto it, BAM!

Ahh, but you didn't kill them. You just sent them back where they came from. They could always come back if they wanted to. Assassination is much more final, plus you actually see them die
