I would love to see solo missions for pretty much level one up to level cap, they dont even have to be high xp, uber loot missions. Just something you can do thats fun when there really isnt a party you want to join.

I would especially like to see class based solo missions. If I could take my level 16 rogue into a stealth/trap disarming/steal the loot dungeon that would be awesome. The only thing that would be as good would be to walk thru the market place and pick pocket and then when housing comes into the game I can break into you house and mess up the place.

Leveling up this build isn't super solo friendly, but it certainly works endgame.

    Dwarf Wizard 15 / Bard 1

Bard at level 1 for max skills and wand whipping early on. But it's the UMD at endgame that really helps. Of course, this works with Drow very well for obvious reasons, but it's hard to deny the extra 100 HP of a Dwarf when soloing for the mere price of 1 DC and 1 UMD.

I have a build like this, but he's currently stalled at level 6 since I took more interest in my Bard and second Cleric.

I do have drow unlocked. I have a lvl 9 drow wizard which is the first true char i made on DDO(not the actual first) . I have not lvld it since though because of my lack of DDO build knowledge, though i did reroll enhancements and came out way stronger.

To get a little bit more specific about what im wanting to do is a human wiz, can be mulitclass but mainly a wiz, that has a high diplomacy, access to all wiz spells and that can solo. I looked a the "Shadow Mage" WF char and that is just amazing how he plays, now if i could do something similar with a human wiz. And its not anything personal against WF, its just my personal feelings about them being more of an old school DND player. I am hoping if all goes well with Module 8, soloing will be made easier somewhat.

Right now i have rolled a rog/wiz with plan on going rog 2/wiz 14. Human and i took diehard as my extra feat. it has helped immensly. I plan on SF: Necro with high intelligence. But soloing at higher lvls i think will be tough (above 4)

suggestions with ability distribution and skills greatly appreciated if someone wants to figure a rog 2/wiz 14 human up.

Kargon just want to mentimion, the main use for diplomanacy in DDO are to make nearby enemamies aggro on othermer party membamers, which are completamally uselemess when soloing (they just ignore it).

Now for those times wizamard end up grouped will be plenty usefumul, but just to keep in mind if solo are the main goal.

Kargon fairly sure diplomanacy will drop aggro onto a summomon, though kargon nevermer personamally try, especiamally since low levamel summomons die pretty quicklamally and kargon usuamally groups rathermer than solos. Kargon can see the combo work pretty well when get pets like the troll for regenermeratimion though, and kargon honestamally nevermer tried soloing a low levamel castermer unless it was a melee castermer.

Do you know if we are getting familiars or pets? That would be huge for spellcasters. So diplomacy will drop aggro onto a summon. K.

Diplomacy will sometimes (not always) shift agro onto a summoned pet or a charmed monster.

Spell focus Necromancy is very nice for Finger of Death - but the great thing about Necromancy spells is that most of them don't have a save (Enfeeble, Exhaustion, Fatigue, Enervation) so if your Spell Penetration is good, the DC doesn't matter.

Next mod (release Soon (tm) ) brings Hirelings that will make everyone's "solo" life so much better.

Yes hirelings will be a huge step toward greater solo. So far I have done the rog 2/ wiz 14 with good results. Right now im at lvl 4 and have successfully soloed all but ww and a few other longer quests. Focusing on DD and OL and Concentration. Basically following the plan listed earlier in the post. I am trying to put some skill points in ms and hide with thoughts on maybe taking another lvl of rog to increase the 2 skills. Thoughts on that or ideas about it wanted. Im wearing mainly dex items, with a spellcasting helm (Concentration +1 or 2) and belt of lesser false life.
