    Default Battlecleric/ranger/monk solo's DQ

I know it's been done before but I'm not sure it has since her new AI made her so much tougher. Anyways I'm just happy to have gotten this done on this mutt of a toon who gets denied from pugs all the time because they question her abilities.

Build is located here if anyone is interested, comments welcome. In Ranger threat, titled Avalanche.

    Well done.

Might I inquire how long it took you?

Also, in regards to the AI, she is actually easier to solo because she doesn't bug out and very rarely places Blade Barriers (or cast spells) when she is in the center area. She just speeds along at full throttle.

I believe completion time was about 14 mins if I recall correctly. Didn't look. But I know my longest lasting buffs last 16 mins and when I was done I still had them up.

You're probably right on about the AI change. For a rangerish toon not sure if it's easier or harder. For say a cleric with maxed out BB? Probably much easier. Will have to try that next.

I do plan to get her on hard and elite. On your solo of her did u do it on norm, hard or elite Mr. Cow?

I did the soloing on normal since module 7 as a 14 cleric/2 rogue, a 16 sorcerer, and a 9 ranger/7 bard. Four notable AI issues/changes she now exhibits:

    • Sometimes she comes to the center with no aggro and doesn't move until she is hit (seen in the youtube video around 5:36 - 5:52).
    • She will teleport between the cliffs until you deal ~5% damage from her total life.
    • She will stay in the center and not teleport between about 80%-95% health.
    • The gnolls during the first cliff teleport phase will lose aggro and sometimes disappear if you don't aggro them back so long as you stay near the edge of the platform.

She is now more predictable, which makes it easier. Also, you don't need Create Undead: 4 Ghouls to stop her from bugging out now, so thats MUCH easier as a ranger to solo.

what do you use to clear the way to the shrine portal? I tried soloing it on my rogue and was having trouble with the red named efreets.

This character gets up to about 60 AC right now sans raiments and chattering ring. With high 50's Ac those efreeti's miss on all but 1's I believe. I just run up to em and melee em with transmuting/minteral II wpns.

MrCow wanted to answer your question. On my most recent solo it took me 8 mins to complete.
