Post Dragon Age: Origins by Bioware

If you're not in the know on this game, here's a link to the demo they shipped out today. It is looking like a fable-esque game and single-player rpg -- at first I thought it was going to be an MMO, but either way the story and graphics and voice acting are phenomenal using the HeroEngine.

Man, now that they're like, seriously gett'n through there.... It's getting released a lot sooner than 2-3 years. Did you check out those videos and the in-game combat? It's absolutely 100% immersive. You'll drown in the atmosphere it's so heavy & thick.

Its there spiritual succesor to the Baldurs Gate series. Looks very good from what I have seen so far. I did not realize a demo shipped today, looks like I am going to have to download that tonight when I'm off work.

Bioware has been in my top 10 list of developers since 1995. I make it a point to try or buy EVERYTHING that they make. They have never sold me a bad game. I didnt think I would like jade empire, I bought it anyway and enjoyed it very much.

I have been following the game for that long, i know its almost here but my interest in the game has dried up waiting that long, I have other interest like DDO. Accually I have been following the game probally closer to 4 years. When the forums started for Dragon age and it was just a name and a few screenshots and nothing else.

They had a presentation at GenCon this year showing of bits of a beta build. It looked pretty polished, actually. From what one of the BioWare guys told me, they were hoping for a spring release, but obviously can't set a firm date.

What I'm REALLY crossing my fingers on though, is that the rumors of them doing a Knights of the Old Republic MMO turn out to be true
