I have requested this a couple times and have seen other request this as well, so if you feel I am trolling I apologize. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE create a confirm button for the using of tomes. Many, many people have lost tomes do to the lag they experience. I recently had my main computer go down and have been playing on my laptop for about 3 weeks. In that short amount of time I have lost three +2 tomes, on a character that already had +3 in those slots. I have tried to just leave them in my back pack until I get my good computer up again, but they have taken two points of permanant damage, three strike and they are gone. I didnt think this was an issue when I was playing on a top of the line computer, but now I feel for those of you that always have played on a lessor comp. So once again, PLEASE create a confirm button for eating tomes. YUM, YUM, YUM.

I've only lost one, and it was only +1, but for such a special item a confirmation dialog does make a LOT of sense. Could put data in the confirmation box too, such as, "You are about to consume a +X [stat] tome. You have (not) consumed [a +X tome | any tome] of this type before. Do you wish to continue?"

i'm still puzzled by how you can accidentally eat a tome o_O
moving an item requires drag and drop, not multiple clicking
moving things from bank to inventory can be done with either double clicking or drag and drop, but the double clicking while in the bank will not eat it even if you click it 400+ times while it's in there

While i dont understand accidentally eating a tome as well, it seems like it would be a simple thing to do, quickly and with minimal resources so i dont see why not.

Absolutely signed. I had to stop using my laser mouse and dig out an older regular one while playing
because of a strange "sticking button" type problem. I would be single clicking on scrolls or potions
to move them into the slot to mail them to my wizard, including mana pots, and the computer would
auto supply a double click and eat or use them. It really p*ssed me off, and when I finally got some
tomes for the first time, I was literally scared sh*tless this would happen on something truly valuable.
I switched the mouse out and have not seen this problem since, leading me to believe the laser mouse
was the issue, but if lag might have helped contribute to it (and at the time this was happening, I had
still not resolved some terrible game breaking lag issues that caused me to have to cancel until my
ISP fixed our apartment server to recognize DDO packets as high priority game packets, so it could've
been that instead or both together), then it could happen still at an inopportune moment. I still live
in dire dread of moving my precious tomes knowing that why an input mistake can or does happen is
utterly irrelevant after you've lost something so valuable. I couldn't agree more that a simple confirm
dialog needs to be placed on such. I mean, they did it for people upon death to not insta release
though that was more a delay in functionality thing, so why not something else far more important
than loss of re-entry xp? Please devs, do throw such a simple thing into our next mod.

Yes, please ! My wife lost a tome by accidentally clicking on it. Yeah...it was her...not me....

I've lost a handful of major mana pots because of the dreaded double-click bug with some mice. I tried trading a few to a cleric in the middle of VoD elite and drank one on my barbarian. Of course, a barbarian can drink a mana potion while raged/madstoned, but not neutralize poison, remove curse, lesser restore, or remove fear!

I accidentally ate a +2 str tome a couple weeks ago. I was so scared to mess up dragging it to my bank slot, that my hand started shaking and caused a double-click. He already had a +2 str tome eaten... Turbine owes me a +2 str tome! and a stack of major mana pots!
