    Default Monks

So after getting the initially attractive at lower levels class of monks, we find at end game non sufficent dps and marginal usefulness only when specced as a stunning blow specialist, because finishing moves are borked, and we lack useful handwraps, with the other melee toons chasing our coattails ( if we are stunners ), only to retire the higher level ones we regrettably created and then are left splashing this new class only to hear that the AC bonus from simply splashing the class will be nerfed. Talk about disincentives to play or even splash this class. Way of The Monk is really Way of the Funk. So why was this new gimpy class brought into the game? Or rather why was this class sold to us as something new and interesting, and it's really not, and what little is interesting enough to splash with is getting the shaft?

I have never seen or heard anything official about the Monk AC bonus for splashes being nerfed.

I think the class was added so people would stop whining about it not being added :P Now we can just say that it is useful only until mid levels unless as a splash class

Umm, ya, and I also have seen nothing to say that the AC boost is getting nerfed.

Your right. I'm nuts the AC bonus is confirmed to be a permanent addition; here to stay, move along and forget this post.

I dont think that the monk ac splash bonus will be removed from a simple anger/commerace point of view. Many players who had +2 tomes saved and used them to create a nice monk build. With not a whole lot to do right now for those players, taking away a key benefit to their build may make them angry enough to cancel their subscription. Some would say dont build a character around a loophole, but at the point of creation how would one know that? I remember some folks in the begining getting a bit irritated at stacking rages which is now considered a must.
Oh and lets try to always keep fun as #1
